William and Kate: A modern fairytale

Once upon a time, there were two people who met on a fateful day, and fell in love, and they ended up together forever.

Ladies and gentlemen, the tale of Prince William and Kate Middleton became known to the world as a modern fairytale being watched over on a global scale. The story of who they were, how did they met, and how did they fell in love became the center of people's imagination both in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. This love story even became the biggest since Prince Charles and Lady Diana. What really attracted the world to this modern-day love tale is about Kate's status as a commoner, being that Kate was born in a quaint little town somewhere in England. Nevertheless, the saying always goes... Love conquers all...

It all started when William entered the prestigious University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Although William is of pure royalty, he doesn't seem to want to be treated as such, and thus he was able to be like any other student at St. Andrew's, the oldest university in Scotland. It was there in St. Andrew's that he met Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, or Kate for short. They lived in the same residential hall and were together in almost every class. During their time at St. Andrew's, William and Kate became best friends and they trust each other more than anyone else.

Soon after their studies in St. Andrew's they were still able to communicate with each other while William was admitted to the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. Being the girlfriend of a royal heir to the throne of England, Kate experienced many encounters with the media. Feared that Kate would be harassed, she was guarded by royal protection in order to defend herself from all the media frenzy, even though Kate had done nothing to deserve this much fame. Nevertheless, everybody knows that the royal family is the center of national news in Great Britain. Even those connected with them are not safe.

The fairytale was lowing down when William and Kate had separated. Kate claims that William isn't paying much attention, as well as William, who was 24 at that time, claiming that he was too young to marry (talk about commitment...). Then again, after the breakup, William and Kate were back to being good friends, although they were seen together in some points. They were able to communicate and trust each other until four years later, their love blooms again.

On October 2010, during their trip to Kenya, William proposed to Kate and vowed marriage to her. It was the greatest day of the couple's lives that it warmed the hearts of singles and lovers everywhere.

During their marriage at Westminster Abbey, the center of the Anglican world, all establishments and institutions in all the United Kingdom have closed so that they would watch the royal wedding, along with billions of people around the world. Lots of celebrities, politicians and other personalities were invited to witness this glorious moment in William and Kate's life. Even among those who were invited was the famous Mr. Bean, Rowan Atkinson (not Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury...). People came about all over the streets of England to greet the royal couple. There were even parties everywhere to celebrate the wedding. The wedding was celebrated with a full swoop, as the royal couple vowed their eternal vows to each other. Upon their return to Buckingham, they were now being referred as William, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Streathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Streathearn, and Baroness Carrickfergus. Now that they are officially married, let me just say I wish all the luck to William and Kate, and may their eternal love flow throughout time.

I assumed that those who read this post would wonder, will they find their William or Kate someday. Well, if you take my word for it, somebody love will appear on a fateful day. Personally, I also hope that someday, that time will come to me. And now, I would like to say few final words...

And they lived happily ever after...
