It was eight days before Christmas and it was the worse Christmas ever.
Many people died, several suffered. It was a totally unexpected situation
impossible to be forgotten.

Agree... Disagree...
I AGREE...
* The RH Bill is a crime against nature (by philiosophers, religious scholars, and academe).
* Some political pundits are idiots.
* China is gone way out of line with Spratlys, Falun Gong, and religion.
* It's still cool to trick-or-treat, even when when you are a teen
* Journalism is a dangerous job, considering that you'll get assigned to war zones.
* Aung San Suu Kyi should have been a prime minister years ago.
* Agriculture should have been number 1 in the economy.
* SBM got what they deserved after 6 years.
* Ateneans are a LaSallian's worst nightmare.
* Turtles can't scream.
I DISAGREE...
* PNoy did not made a good job as president (well at least he tried).
* Young people can't lead in a government. (Ninoy Aquino was 22, when he became governor)
* Communists view religion as an excuse to scare people. (Well I'm Muslim, so back off Reds!)
* Teenagers can't watch SpongeBob SquarePants anymore. (we're still young, aren't we?)
* It's wrong to be gay. (although it's wrong to marry another guy)
* Black people can't be big. (If Obama and Mandela can do it, why not anybody else?)
* Being atheist solves everything. (try praying for once)
* Jose Rizal attacks Catholic priests. (just the Spanish priests)
* It's wrong to pull anybody's finger for no reason (you know what happens...)
* Alcohol helps you man up. (if you wanna man up to Death)

A College Student's 6th Grade Memory
Last week, my batchmate from the 6th grade returned to Cagayan de Oro to attend the CFC Youth for Christ International Leaders' Conference, which was held in the city. I was so excited to see my friend Yla again, that I personally went to her house to see her. However, when I got there, she wasn't there. I soon found out when I called form her that she was staying near the conference venue. On sunday night, we gathered to one of my batchmate's house for a mini-reunion. We had a heck of a good time and we were really happy to see each other again.

To last year...
Dear Last Year,
I know it's soundly odd, but I want to say that it's been fun knowing you.
3 Idiots: What I like about them...
- With a carefree attitude, Rancho had a full confidence of life amidst the arduous pressure of college life. He never cared about how much life is pulling down on him, as long as he has the courage to stand up to ViruS for himself, his friends, and Pia. He also has a passionate mindset of things. His wisdom on pursuing one's passion really hits everybody a lot. Sometimes, I ask myself how was Rancho able to top at his class while maintaining a carefree attitude. Simple, he loved engineering so much that he was able to gain himself from it. He always helps a friend when it is needed.

The Joy of Travel
Imagine you’re in a place that you’ve never seen before, and then you see the cool stuff inside it and begin to want the adventure of a lifetime. Travelling to another place is like going to a whole new world where it can be reached in a stone’s throw. There a lots of places around to see: New York, Hollywood, Paris, Phuket, the Maldives, or even the sandy deserts of the Middle East or the safari of East Africa. The choices are endless when you’re gung ho to the challenge of a lifetime.

I Long to See the First Star at Night
I long to see the first star at night.
When I sit down at the front porch,
Whether raining or otherwise,
When all things are getting bleak,
There will be a star that I see
Twinkling through the clouds,
My sadness flows away.
When I sit down at the front porch,
Whether raining or otherwise,
When all things are getting bleak,
There will be a star that I see
Twinkling through the clouds,
My sadness flows away.

Let Freedom Ring...
I was browsing around in the Internet in my laptop and I stumble on to this video, which is a digitally-remastered remix of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream". When I watch the video, besides the fact that it has a catchy tune, it reminded to me that the war against discrimination and oppression is not over yet and we must act now to defend the rights of every man. We must oversee that every man of every color has every right bestowed by God with pomp and dignity. I could have even cried of his message of hope for the future.

Life is a rat race...
(note: This is my award-"nominating" feature essay for journalism class last semester... (which I should have won...))
In life, have you ever imagined that every challenge you need to go forward has a price in return? Do you have to get yourself flipped just to get things done? I know. I for one as a second year did not perceive that this was about to happen, especially in times that leave you to choose and pay the price, like paying a large contribution for a “life-and-death” situation of a project, or staying up all night in your classmate’s house just to get done on a final exam requirement. There are times that we don’t expect for our lives to happen. So, life goes on in spite of happenings that have you kicked in the boot. So in this episode, I would like to share this experience to readers everywhere.

Sorrows
Knowing that my sorrows won't go away like a severe case of pink eye, I don't actually know how am I going to live with all this crap frankly because nobody care what I feel inside and believed that I lived in a world full of selfish jerks who think they can rule the day and can step on the weak whenever they can.
